Thank you...

Thank you second grade for a wonderful play about Johnny Appleseed! You all did a wonderful job! The kindergartener's loved it!! Also, thank you for the apples!! Yum-yum...:)

Sister Rosa Maria

It was a true blessing to have Sister Rosa Maria come to our school. The students loved visiting with her and seeing a Nun!! She loved our classroom and praised the kindergartener's for working hard and loving God. The kindergartener's were able to tell Sister our '4' Student Learning Expectations! Way to go Kindergartner's!! :) Sister Rosa Maria also offered a special blessing before she left. Thank you Sister Rosa Maria for coming to our school!

Kindergartener's...having FUN with graphing!

The kindergartener's are having fun with graphing. They are collecting and recording data from their classmates. Learning is FUN!!

Johnny Appleseed!!

This week we are having fun learning about who John Chapman was...aka Johnny Appleseed.
We have read a story about him and have watched a couple short video clips about him. Ask your kindergartener what Johnny Appleseed walked around doing? What he wore on his head? What he wore on his feet? What did he hold in his hand? See if they can remember... help them type in their answers in the comment area!

God gives us many gifts!

In our 'God books' we are learning about the many gifts that God gives us! We are learning about God's gift of light and God's gift of water. Soon we will learn about God's gift of land and animals. The class is learning so much about all of God's wonderful gifts to us!

Picture day...

is on Tuesday, September 15th!! Students must be in school uniform and come with a BIG smile!!

September Birthday Celebration...

is scheduled for September 25th at 1:15. Don't forget to send in your child's photo's. The scrapbooks are going to be adorable!! I can't wait to see the finished scrapbook at the end of the year!! Jennilyn...what an AWESOME idea!!

Shamrock Farms...

our first field trip is scheduled for Thursday, October 29th. We will be going to Shamrock Farms in Stanfield!!
